Common questions
DuperMail says it needs Accessibility
DuperMail reads where you are in Mail and presses Mail's menu items for you, and macOS requires your permission for that. Open System Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then Accessibility, and turn on DuperMail. If it's already on but keys don't work, turn it off and on again.
A key typed in Mail didn't do anything
DuperMail only acts in the message list and the reading pane. In a message you're writing, in search, or in any text field, keys go to Mail as typed. That's on purpose, so DuperMail never eats your typing. Click the message list and try again. Press ? to see every key.
I use VoiceOver, and single keys don't work
VoiceOver's single-key Quick Nav takes those keys before DuperMail sees them. Turn it off by pressing VO-Q (Control-Option-Q). DuperMail tells you once. DuperMail speaks its confirmations, and works on a best-effort basis with VoiceOver.
How do I move my License to another Mac?
A License works on up to 3 Macs. To free a slot, open DuperMail's Settings, choose License, then Deactivate This Mac. Then enter your key on the new one. If you can't reach the old Mac, use Polar's customer portal to remove it.
I lost my License Key
Your key is in the email Polar sent when you bought. You can also find it in Polar's customer portal.
How do I change my plan, update my card, or cancel?
In DuperMail's Settings, choose License, then Manage Subscription…. It opens Polar's customer portal, where you can change plan, update your card, or cancel.
How do I send a Diagnostics Report?
In Settings, choose Diagnostics, then Create Diagnostics Report…. You'll see the whole report. Add a note about what went wrong, then save it or choose Email to Support. It opens in your own Mail, and you press Send. Nothing is sent until you do. See Privacy for what's in it.
